In my own personal journey there have been many
different approaches and therapies that I have found to
be extremely helpful. One of those was exploring my
past through regression therapy. In my twenties I was
searching for meaning and purpose to the difficult times
I was going through. I found the anwers I was looking
for through regression therapy. Through the insights I
received I was able to pull my life together, stop being
a victim of my situation and build a new road to my
future.
Is there really such a thing as past lives? I guess we don't have any 'proof' that there is, and it is possible that the mind just creates the scenes that you see, but from my perspective it just doesn't make any difference if it helps find meaning and purpose to any area of your life and help you to move forward.
I have traveled into my past many times, the past before my birth in this life time. I have never seen myself as a famous or notorious person from the past, but many people do. My experience with my clients and students is that you couldn't make up the details and information that you see if you wanted to! Often students and clients are able to validate the information they recieve by looking up dates and names on the internet. Unfortunately this does not happen in every case, but the times that it can be validated certainly adds to the experience.
